Open Profile → Tune to customize the separate Exterior (E), Interior (I), and Twilight (T) defaults. Apply to future edits saves the complete settings for that scene; it does not alter existing images or the other two scenes. Reset removes that scene's personal override and its top-header badge letter, discards its unsaved draft, and makes future edits follow the current app default. If automatic Tune is paused app-wide, your settings still save and take effect when it is enabled again.

On an eligible edited photo, Tune adjusts color, light, and sharpness without another AI edit or token charge. Preview lets you compare the result before saving. Undo returns to the sliders with your draft settings; it does not undo a previously kept result. Closing discards the preview, and only Keep changes the current image version. A profile default you explicitly saved stays saved even if you close without keeping the photo. Manual Tune works even when automatic profile Tune is paused. Floor plans, photos still processing, and older images without the saved high-quality source needed to rebuild the result cannot be tuned.

Reset restores just the selected adjustment to how it was when you selected it, while App Default sets just that adjustment to picAid's current default for the photo type. Reset All restores all sliders to your saved photo-type default, or the app default when you have no personal default. Preview and Keep are still required to change the photo. Reset All does not itself erase the photo's saved tuning or clear its Tune glow. Set as My Exterior, Interior, or Twilight Default saves all the current controls for future edits and remakes of that type; it does not change the open photo until you choose Preview and Keep.

Changing Profile Tune does not rewrite existing photos. Each edited version retains the settings used to create it; a later remake can use your current personal defaults. Tune rebuilds an eligible version from its saved high-quality source instead of repeatedly editing its downloaded JPEG. If a separate 4K copy exists, you must confirm that Keep replaces it with the tuned result at the source resolution. You can run 4K Upscale again afterward for its normal token cost. Some older images lack the source or saved processing details needed for Tune.

The cyan Tune badge at the top shows saved Profile Tune defaults: E = Exterior, I = Interior, T = Twilight. Only the letters for photo types you have saved appear. Tap the badge to open Profile → Tune. Resetting a photo type in Profile removes its letter; with no saved defaults, the badge disappears. It can remain visible while automatic adjustments are paused and does not mean older photos were changed. A glow around a photo's Tune button means that photo has its own saved tuning. Settings and Straighten have separate indicators; these are not the top Profile Tune badge.

Tokens are used for editing operations. Standard edits cost 75 tokens, remakes cost 25 tokens, and 4K upscaling costs an additional 35 tokens. Upload and analysis are always free. The need for remakes was considered with the current pricing system. We try to average 100 tokens needed per photo for those that may need several remakes vs ones that need none.,

Reach out to us through our support form or email support@picaid.app and after we investigate we can either refund you the money which can take 5-10 days or process the tokens to your account. We monitor our support tickets from 10:00AM-1:00AM EST and respond rather quickly 7 days a week.

Token purchases are non-refundable. However, we may issue token credits for images that were not improved or experienced technical issues. If you believe an edit failed to enhance your image or was broken due to a technical problem, submit a request and our team will review it. We do not refund tokens for remakes done unless there is a very serious error on our end.

Yes you can absolutely send us drone pics! We actually developed very specific training for our A.I. editor on how to handle drone photos differently. We even treat different elevations differently.

Most images are processed within 1-3 minutes. During peak times, it may take slightly longer. You'll receive an email notification when your images are ready.

AI-generated results can vary. As much as we try to give you the result you'd like, it is still a roll of the dice to some degree when using A.I. Try using the Remake feature (25 tokens) to get a different variation. You can also adjust the tasks and settings before editing for more control over the output.

We support JPG, JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and TIFF formats. iPhone HEIC photos are automatically corrected for orientation.

In Stage or Decorate mode, click 'Use reference image' and upload a photo showing the furniture style you want. The AI will use it as inspiration for your staging.

Click on the menu at the top left of the website. Choose "Account" then select "Cancel Account". All of your information, uploaded images and edited content will be permanently removed from our website.

Try doing a hard refresh on your web browser or if you're using an app, close the app then re-open and go to 'My Sets' to continue working with your set. This can occur if you temporarily lose a connection to our server.

If there are too many using our service at the same time it can cause delays in processing. Unless the image tells you that it "Failed", we assure you it's either being processed or will be. We recommend you check back or use email notifications when your sets are finished.

It can be a challenge for A.I. to replace words or numbers, especially if they're distant in the photo. The trick to fix it is to make a task telling the A.I. editor exactly what needs to be written and where. "The number on the house by the door is 119." or "The words on the sign say The Smiths".

Occasionally our server will restart for maintenance reasons. It doesn’t last longer than a couple minutes and if your process was interrupted it will continue automatically in the background. Your token cost for the set of photos not be affected.

During peak usages times the back-end A.I. service we use to support our framework can be very slow at processing images. Unfortunately this causes long waits.

Occasionally the back-end service that we use for our A.I. processing can experience errors or downtime that may last a while. Unfortunately this is not in our control and all we can do ask that you try at a later time. You may receive update emails from us to let you know if this is happening.

Photographers can certainly use our app. We have lots of photographers who use it as a time saving tool. Although we designed the app to be easy enough for realtors to use their own cellphones, the app works just as well with photos off of DSLR cameras.

We have many ways of detecting possible abuse of our "Free Trial" tokens. If you are a first time user one of our detection methods may have been too sensitive and triggered our fraud protection. You can email support@picaid.app and we will review your account and send you some tokens if we feel this was a mistake. We don't allow free tokens to be given if you are connected through a VPN, Proxy or any other cloud-based connection service.

After a certain amount of time passes we will remove accounts that have been dormant and have never purchased tokens. Your account may also have been removed if photos that are not deemed fit for our service were uploaded. We do not allow photos of people unless they were meant to be removed from a real estate photos. We also may remove accounts that were suspected to be created by an already existing user to exploit our generous free tokens for signing up.

We do allow Real Estate photos to be uploaded if they have people in them with the intent to remove the people in order to use the photo for Real Estate. If we fee a photo is not appropriate for real estate use, such as portraits of people or selfies, we will remove the photos immediately and may also remove the account.

We don't answer or respond to every flagged image report. We do review every one of them to help us improve the A.I. editing process. We do appreciate the feedback but we don't have the resources to respond to every report. It's important to know that using A.I. can produce un-predictable results and not every image is going to give you the outcome you'd like. If you aren't getting results after a couple remakes we suggest you try a different image.

Straightening and perspective correction is something we're not quite able to do using the technology we have. To put it simple, it comes down to math and geometry which would complicate our system. The easier solution is to ask that you capture them straight or use your phone's built-in perspective correcting tool. This is usually found in your phone's photo app.

There is a task that our A.I. editor uses called "Make the grass look nice". If you open the settings for any images with grass in them you can uncheck this task and it will be skipped. You can follow up with an additional task of your own like "Leave the grass as it is, we don't want to improve the look of any grass."

While technically we don't we do offer something close to it. Using "Stage" mode you can produce one virtually staged image. Then you can upload that image to the stage mode as a reference image. Our A.I. will use this as a style reference and produce very similar furniture and decor but we can't guarantee it will be in the same position as the original image showed it.

Each photo is treated separately from any others when the A.I. produces an edited image. We recommend you keep the number of photos of a single room to just one or two at most. Or you can use a task to describe what you saw in the first edited image and do a remake.

Sometimes our A.I. editor likes to turn the view to better position or fit furniture. Good virtual staging starts with the angle you capture the photo from. Try to show 3 walls of the room if you can capture wide enough of an angle. For bedrooms always show more of the longest wall in the room because that's where we will try to fit the bed. Try to provide wide-angle ( .5x ) captured photos to give our editor room to work with.

From our main menu go to "Settings". Then look for the tab that says "Watermarks" or the icon of a stamper. From here you can choose and preview what the watermark will look like on an image. The watermark you choose is automatically going to be added to all of your images going forward until you come back to this section and choose "No Watermark". We offer several different messages that can be helpful with staying compliant with local listing services.

Although we won't give you both versions at once automatically, you can process photos with no watermarks, then go to settings, choose a watermark, then go to "My Sets" and do a remake on any photos you want a watermark to appear on. When you choose to "Download All" both copies will be in the zip for you.

We remove sets of images 30 days after they have been created. When you view your 'My Sets' section you will see an expiration date on each set. We strongly encourage you to download your photos as soon as you can to retain them longer.

Although our AI is good at detecting what type of room it may be, there are times where there's not enough visual information to conclude and it may have to guess.

Although our app is provided in English, tasks you add to photos can be written in any language.

We are moving past the need for brackets with AI editing. You can use your brackets, but only use one dark exposure from each set of brackets. Don't worry about it looking too dark, the editing process will make it look like all 3 of your brackets were combined and even preserve the window views.

Yes! Our AI editor actively looks for blurry photos and will automatically make sharply focused versions of them. If there is particular detail that you want to recover like words or items, add those descriptions as tasks and this will help guide the editor.

Sometimes the A.I. detection can confuse asphalt driveways with cement driveways or the other way around. The simple fix is to use a task to say "The driveway is an asphalt driveway" or "The driveway is a concrete driveway". You can also use the same method to correct it when it's changing the color of a driveway.

The best way to fix this is to use season mode on any photos with window views. You don’t have to configure this mode as it defaults to summer. Just make sure not to add to all or it may create windows in photos that have no windows in order to satisfy the request.

The most important step of virtual staging is capturing the photo or choosing which photos to use. Our AI editor is taught not to place objects in front of doors, however it's also taught to stage the room with a suite of furniture and decor. This creates confusion for the AI editor because if the photo shows a view pointing towards the room entrance and closet doors, it will have a hard time satisfying both requirements. The best angle you can use for staging is from the entrance of the room showing 3 walls with any doors being on the sides. Follow up with detailed tasks directing where you'd like the editor to place things or where not to place things.

When you have one image that is giving you this error while others are not, it is likely that the A.I. editor is seeing content that it deems possibly prohibited from being regenerated. This could be a watermarked image, famous art, or it could simply be an inspirational message on a wall decoration. You can try adding a task that says to remove whatever it is you think it could be flagging. Or you may need to skip this image if you've tried several times with no success.

Yes, this can easily be achieved by simply adding a task. Here are some tasks you might want to use: Blur all personal portraits seen in the photo Remove any personal photos and portraits from the photo Replace any photos of people, portraits etc. with vague art

Assuming you've checked that your internet connection is good, it is likely that you simply are no longer logged into the app. Hit refresh on your browser or force close the app on a mobile device. Once you load the app again it should let you log in and continue uploading your photos. If the problem persists, send us a support email right away and we'll look into the issue. If the app server is down for maintenance you will see a warning message after opening the app.

Sometimes our A.I. editor may be confused by something that appears to be a type of light attached to the ceiling fan during the Analyze phase. Before doing a remake add tasks like: There is no light attached to the ceiling fans in this photo The light on the ceiling fan has 4 arms with tulip shaped glass shades The light on the ceiling fan in this photo has a large bowl shape

We actually have a great feature meant specifically for floorplans. If you upload a floorplan of any kind, it will be automatically detected and treated very differently than standard photos. All 2D floorplans are automatically converted to a 3D Blueprint image with added furniture, dollhouse style top down view with shading and blue gradients. You can add custom tasks to add any further instructions but you are limited to keeping the same structure of the floorplan as it only supports enhancing the look from 2D to 3D. It is recommended that you use floorplan images that have room labels and measurements if possible.

You may need to remove any watermarks or disclaimers written on the image. Our A.I. editor sometimes gets fixated on some logos or disclaimer text and may be afraid it is a copyrighted image.

Upscaling to 4k uses A.I. resources that are heavily taxing on our resources. This increases the processing time to almost double which also makes our queuing process longer for other users. If you'd like a better alternative try a third party software like Topaz Photo which can do bulk A.I. upscaling right on your computer. There is a monthly subscription fee to use their software but if you're editing a lot of photos it can save you money and time.

This usually means the photo file was corrupted during transfer — most often when copying images from your iPhone to your computer over a cable or via AirDrop on a poor connection. The file looks intact from the outside but is missing data internally, so we can't open it. What to try: Re-export directly from your iPhone. Open the Photos app, find the photo, tap the Share button, and use AirDrop or email to send it fresh rather than copying from a previously transferred file. Check your storage. If your iPhone was nearly full when the photo was taken, it may have saved an incomplete copy. Free up space and reshoot if possible. Try a different format. In your iPhone Settings → Camera → Formats, switch from High Efficiency (HEIC) to Most Compatible (JPEG) and re-export the photo. JPEG transfers more reliably across devices. Use a different transfer method. If you copied via USB cable, try iCloud Photos or AirDrop instead — or vice versa. If the issue affects multiple photos from the same shoot, the original files on the device may be damaged and the photos may need to be retaken.

Sometimes you may see multiple edits returned for an image, even though you did not click the "Remake" button. When this happens you are not charged any extra tokens for this additional copy. The additional copy is the result of the editing processing becoming interrupted for some reason on our end. We then force an additional copy to be made for no extra cost. Occasionally the original copy ends up completing anyways in which case you we just let you have both copies (or more). Rather than discard this extra copy we just let you have it. You will receive them both if you download the .zip file. Or you can click the purple badge to view the multiple copies. You can also remove them from the set here as well.

Geometry limitations within our app’s capabilities cause issues with using tasks like “Make the room appear larger.” The trick is to approach the problem differently by treating the image as a canvas. Use a task like: “ Enlarge the canvas of this 2d image so that more of this room is visible.” You can also enable the “Remove All Constraints” toggle switch which you can find in the Advanced tab when you’re viewing the task list. This will remove some of the built-in instructions that force our app to maintain the exact structure of the room.

The A.I. processing engine we use may have temporarily broken. If you experience one or more of these anomalies use the "Flag Image" icon to report the image and mention in those comments if more than one image came back broken. You can also send us an email at support@picaid.app with some details. We will certainly refund you the tokens for any images that came back broken due to any anomalies with our processing.

Sometimes if there was too long of a delay with the editing, our system will request another edit and you may have gotten more than one back if the initial edit comes back also. You will never be charged for these automated remakes. No tokens were deducted from your account for these. We also sometimes monitor our edited results throughout the day for any opportunities to improve our app. If we feel the edited output your received did not meet our level of satisfaction, we may generate remakes for you at no cost to you. If we are unable to get satisfactory results from remakes, this helps us identify scenarios that need correcting with our editing logic. We will never take tokens from your account when we make remakes for you. If you ever feel like tokens were removed from your account for remakes you did not request please email use at support@picaid.app and we will happily refund those tokens for you after we investigate the issue.

No, there is no need for these formats because of the nature of how we process images. A.I. edits differently than your standard Lightroom style photo editing software. We re-render 100% of your images pixels, so sending us large raw files would only result in them being converted to a JPG anyways. No matter the resolution of your image file it will always be returned as being upscaled or downscaled to 2K and re-rendered completely. This means that if you send us a completely blurry 1280x1080 image it will be returned to you as a sharp, edited 2K image unless you opt for the 4K upscaled version. If you are not looking for your image to be completely re-rendered we recommend not using an A.I. editing platform. If you'd like to continue using raw images or backets, we recommend you convert your raw files to jpg using a free program like XnConvert and/or batch your brackets with a program like Photomatix before uploading. Or convert and upload single dark brackets and our app will normalize the image.

Each time you update Tune adjustments for a single photo it starts from the original A.I. edited photo then applies all settings that are currently setting. So your previous adjustments are discarded and only applied again if you still have them set the same way.

This is a non-destructive process that uses the full resolution, high quality A.I. edited output before it's ever compressed. So, No, the quality of your image is never any less than what it was after you received your A.I. edited version.

Your previous A.I. edited along with the Tune adjustments will remain in your Set and those Tune adjustments will not be able to be undone on that version. The new Remake you create will have the App or Your default Tune adjustments applied just as if you started a new set. Not the last Tune adjustments used for the previous edit. You can use the Set As My Default button if you'd like to continue applying those settings to future remakes. You can always revert your default settings back by going to the app menu Settings - Tune.

We do not provide receipts from within the app because we use third party transaction providers. Your receipt will come from either Stripe, Link, Apple or Google depending on what platform you use the app from. You can also see your history of purchases on the My Tokens page if you'd like to take a screenshot or copy that list to your clipboard and save it.

If furniture is appearing too small proportionally to the size of the room the photo may not be wide of an enough angle for the staging mode to work correctly. It is recommended that you use wide angle images or images that allow enough room for furniture to be placed. You can try adding some tasks like the following to help you stage these spaces anyways: This a very tiny room where complete views of furniture must be cut off at the image canvas edge. Do not force entire pieces of furniture to be visible.

Sometimes an image either in your set or another queued user's set may be flagged by our automated quality control filters. This could happen for various reasons and may result in an image taking longer than usual. No image should take longer than 10-15 minutes once it's being actively processed in the analyze of edit phase. At this point the image will fail to process and you will be given the option to try it again or delete the image. You can try force refreshing the page if you are on a web browser or force closing the app on an android or iOS device and going to "My sets" to see if it changes the status. If that does not help then waiting is your only option. No image will ever be indefinitely delayed and will eventually fail or process.

To keep our system uniform and simple 2K JPG is the only resolution and format we will support for outputs. We consider our output file size to be web-friendly as they are already under 1MB. If you're looking for a smaller file size or different format we we highly recommend XnConvert which is a workhorse for many in the real estate photography industry. https://www.xnview.com/en/xnconvert/ You can create custom presets and batch process images very quickly and its free to use with the option to donate.

Unfortunately some photos simply are not good candidates for AI staging. Try another photo showing more of the room’s layout, ideally taken from a doorway or farther back. Avoid tightly cropped corners and extreme wide-angle distortion. Some views are harder for AI to stage accurately.

picAid is an AI real estate photo editing app for real estate agents, photographers, and property managers who want to enhance listing photos without learning a traditional photo editor. It combines lighting and color enhancement, virtual staging, room emptying, twilight conversion, and other property-photo tools in one workflow. Upload your photos, let picAid analyze them, review the suggested tasks, and select the editing modes you want. You can add your own instructions and use compatible modes together. This makes picAid an option for preparing interior and exterior property marketing images from phone or camera photos. Always compare the finished images with the originals before publishing a listing.

The best virtual staging app depends on whether you need to furnish vacant rooms, replace existing furniture, customize the design style, or combine staging with real estate photo enhancement. Compare the available controls, pricing, image quality on your own photos, and how well the results represent the property's actual space. picAid is one option for AI virtual staging because it supports empty, occupied, and messy rooms, offers built-in decor styles and custom style instructions, and can apply Stage mode to a group of photos. Review furniture scale, doors, windows, and room geometry in every result. Virtual staging should be identified as a digital illustration wherever your listing service requires disclosure.

Yes. picAid can enhance real estate photos captured with an iPhone or Android phone, as well as images from a dedicated camera. You can use picAid through a web browser or its iOS and Android apps to upload property photos, review AI analysis, and select enhancement or virtual staging modes. For a useful starting image, clean the lens, hold the phone level, and capture enough of the room to show its layout. Avoid extreme distortion and tightly cropped corners when possible, especially for staging. AI photo editing can improve presentation, but it cannot reliably reconstruct every detail missing from a poorly framed or obscured photograph.

You can use AI virtual staging to add digital furniture and decor to a photograph of an empty room instead of physically furnishing the property. In picAid, upload the room photo, allow it to be analyzed, and use the Edit mode menu to add Stage mode. Review the suggested style or choose a different look before processing. Virtual staging can help illustrate how bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and home offices could be arranged. Start with a photo that shows the room's layout and enough space for furniture to fit naturally. The result is a marketing illustration, not evidence that the furniture is included with the property, and should be disclosed accordingly.

Yes. picAid's virtual staging workflow supports furnished, occupied, and messy homes as well as vacant properties. Stage mode can be used to generate a coordinated furniture and decor arrangement rather than requiring an entirely empty room as the starting photo. You can choose a style and add instructions about what should remain or change. This can be useful when preparing photos of a lived-in family room, a crowded bedroom, or a space with dated furnishings. Review whether the result preserves the actual room and whether important features remain visible. AI can misunderstand clutter and furniture boundaries, so results vary. Follow local listing rules for identifying digitally staged or altered images.

Yes. picAid lets you use an automatically suggested staging style, select a built-in decor style, or describe a custom look. You can also supply a staging reference image for visual inspiration. This gives agents and real estate photographers control over the intended presentation instead of accepting only one generic furniture arrangement. For example, describe a light, neutral living room, a simple home-office setup, or compact furniture for a small bedroom. For an outdoor living space such as a deck, porch, or patio, specify outdoor furniture and ask that it fit the existing footprint. A reference guides the look, but it does not guarantee identical furniture or consistent placement across different camera angles.

picAid includes Empty mode for digitally removing furniture from room photos, alongside editing tasks and custom instructions for unwanted items or clutter. This lets a real estate agent or photographer illustrate an unfurnished space or prepare a different presentation without physically moving every item before taking another photo. Use Empty mode when the goal is an empty room, Stage mode when you want a new furnished arrangement, and specific tasks when you want to address selected objects. Inspect the areas revealed by removal because the AI generates an interpretation of surfaces hidden in the original photo. Do not use digital removal to conceal property damage or misrepresent permanent features.

picAid's Edit workflow can enhance brightness, color balance, and window-view presentation in interior real estate photos. Its optional Add Sunlight feature can also create a sunlit look when that suits the room and your marketing goals. These controls are useful for rooms photographed on an overcast day or with a large difference between indoor and outdoor light. For a lighter-touch workflow, Core Tasks Only keeps the selected editing focused on core improvements such as brightness and color rather than every suggested enhancement. Review bright windows, wall colors, fixtures, and exterior views afterward. AI editing generates image content, so it should not be treated as proof that obscured views or missing details have been recovered accurately.

picAid can convert a daytime exterior property photo into a twilight-style image using Twilight mode. Its scene options include Twilight, Sunset, Night, Morning, and Dramatic, allowing you to choose a presentation that fits the property rather than scheduling every exterior shoot for the same time of day. Day-to-dusk editing can help illustrate an evening setting for a home's front elevation, patio, or outdoor entertaining area. Start with a well-composed exterior photo and inspect the generated sky, lighting, windows, and landscaping. A twilight conversion is a digitally created interpretation, not a photograph documenting the actual light at that moment. Use any disclosures required by your local listing or advertising rules.

picAid offers exterior real estate photo editing tools for lighting and color, optional sky replacement, lawn enhancement, and seasonal appearance changes. It also analyzes aerial and drone property photos. You can review suggested tasks, turn off changes you do not want, and add instructions about the surfaces or features that should remain unchanged. These tools can be useful for exterior listing photos taken under flat light or with a distracting sky. Use lawn and seasonal edits carefully because they can change the apparent condition of the property. Check driveways, roof materials, vegetation, and lot details against the original, and do not present an AI enhancement as evidence that repairs or landscaping work have been completed.

picAid can detect an uploaded 2D floor plan and create a styled 3D architectural illustration rather than treating the file as a standard room photograph. This can help real estate agents and property managers present a layout in a furnished, dollhouse-style view that is easier to visualize alongside listing photos. Use a clear floor plan with room labels and measurements when available, and review the resulting walls, doors, labels, and furniture placement. The generated image is a visual interpretation of the supplied plan, not a measured survey, an editable CAD model, a construction document, or independent verification of room dimensions. It should not replace professional plans or measurements.

picAid lets you upload a set of property photos, analyze the images, and use Apply To All to choose compatible modes such as Stage for multiple photos. You can then review individual images and their suggested tasks before processing instead of setting up every photo from scratch. This is useful for a property listing with several bedrooms, living areas, and exterior views. Group controls can reduce repetitive setup, while individual settings let you keep different room styles or exclude photos that do not need staging. Download the finished images after reviewing them. Each photo is generated separately, so applying the same settings does not guarantee identical furniture, placement, or other details across views of the same room.

Yes you can do this easily now with our automatic multi-room detection in stage mode. You can read more about it here: https://www.picaid.app/blog/automatic-multi-room-virtual-staging-open-floor-plans
